It’s completely normal to have a few questions before asking someone for help — especially when that help might involve your home, personal life or business.
I’ve answered some of the things people often ask below, but if there’s anything else you’d like to know, just get in touch. I’m always happy to have a chat.
There’s no such thing as a silly question. ✓
Quite a lot! My support covers home, life and business, and it’s tailored around what would genuinely make things easier for you.
That might mean decluttering and organising a room, helping with a house move, finding and coordinating tradespeople, tackling life admin or errands, organising gifts or a holiday, or providing practical support with your business, projects or events.
If something is taking up your time, energy or headspace, just ask. If I can help, I will — and if I can’t, I’ll always be honest about that.
Absolutely not. Please don’t feel you need to tidy, organise or apologise for your home before I arrive — seeing things as they really are helps me understand what isn’t working for you.
I’m there to help, not to judge. We’ll work together at a pace that feels comfortable, and you’ll always be in control of what stays, what goes and what we change.
No — never. My job isn’t to decide what you should or shouldn’t keep.
If we’re decluttering or organising together, I can help you work through things, ask useful questions and make suggestions, but the final decision is always yours.
And decluttering doesn’t automatically mean throwing lots away. Sometimes the biggest difference comes from simply organising what you already have and finding a better way for your space to work for you.
Both. Some clients need help with one particular job or project, while others find it useful to have regular support with the things that keep cropping up.
You might need me for a few hours to tackle something specific, support over several weeks for a move or project, or ongoing help to keep everyday life or business running more smoothly.
There’s no set package — we’ll work out what kind of support suits you best.
I’m based in Newton Mearns, on the south side of Glasgow, and work with clients locally and across the surrounding areas.
Some of the things I help with can also be done remotely — particularly research, planning, life admin and certain types of business support.
If you’re not sure whether I cover your area or can help remotely, just ask.
Every job is a little different, so the cost will depend on the type of support you need, how much time is involved and whether it’s a one-off job or ongoing support.
We’ll start with a free, no-obligation chat so I can understand what you need. I’ll then explain the likely cost clearly before we agree to anything.
No surprises and no pressure to go ahead.
I’ll explain the cost and payment arrangements clearly before we agree to any work, so you’ll know what to expect from the outset.
There are no hidden costs, and any additional expenses or purchases will be agreed with you first.
I understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to rearrange an appointment, just let me know as soon as you can.
A cancellation charge may apply where insufficient notice is given, in line with my terms and conditions.
Yes. I’m fully insured for the work I carry out, so you can feel confident inviting me into your home or business.
Yes. My background in teaching gave me experience of working with people with different needs, including ADHD, and taught me that what works brilliantly for one person may not work for another.
I don’t expect you to organise, process information or make decisions in a particular way. We can adapt how we work, break things into manageable steps and find an approach that feels comfortable for you.
The aim is to find what works for you — not make you fit someone else’s system.
Absolutely. I understand that asking for help can sometimes mean sharing personal information or inviting me into parts of your home or life that feel private.
I’ll always treat you, your home, your belongings and any information you share with care, discretion and respect.
From time to time, I may ask whether you’d be happy for me to take photographs of the work I’ve done, for example a before-and-after transformation. I will always ask your permission first, and there is absolutely no pressure to say yes. Saying no will never affect the help or support you receive.
Your privacy and your trust are really important to me.
It starts with a friendly free, no-obligation chat. You can tell me a little about what’s going on, what’s taking up your time or headspace, and what you’d like some help with.
You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what service you need. I can ask a few questions and help work out what kind of support would be most useful.
If it would help, we can then arrange for me to come and take a look, or agree the next steps depending on what you need.
Sometimes the hardest part is simply asking for help — after that, we can get it Sorted together. ✓
If there’s something I haven’t covered, or you’re wondering whether I could help with your particular situation, just get in touch.
You don’t need to know exactly what you need — tell me what’s going on and we can take it from there.
No obligation — just a free friendly chat.
